Lead DevOps Engineer

Pico is making the internet a more vibrant community by empowering creators to run their own business. Our platform gives these creatives and small businesses the tools they need to grow, manage, and sell directly to their audiences using no-code solutions. We’re pushing into an exciting new chapter of growth and looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced, mission-driven team. As an engineer joining our team, you should feel comfortable wearing multiple hats, getting your hands dirty with both the backend and frontend, working collaboratively with both fellow engineers and the company's founders, and adapting quickly to user feedback.


Participate in the design process for secure transactional products. Use IaC tools like Terraform, and IT automation frameworks like Ansible to manage complex infrastructure in secure, fast, clean, and repeatable ways. Report directly to the CTO to implement technical, organizational, and software practice vision. Use advance level networking skills Build and lead a distributed, cutting-edge DevOps and SecOps organization as we scale. Synergize with our distributed development team to deliver features with quality and efficiency. Assist with application deployments in our cloud environment. Responsible for creation and maintenance of servers, backups, auto-scaling,ACL/IAM roles and permissions, DNS, CDN configuration, optimization, and distribution, Aurora, Mysql, Postgres, MariaDB, and more. May telecommute.


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems required.

- 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer required.

- AWS SysOps Certification required.
