We launched Pico in May 2019 after a year of developing in private beta alongside creators and startups at the cutting edge of digital media. At the time, we had identified a host of needs emerging from a surge of entrepreneurial activity in the publishing industry. Writers and journalists were breaking off and launching ambitious projects, forging their own paths by piecing together off-the-shelf software solutions and experimenting with new direct-to-audience monetization strategies.
In the two years since, we’ve welcomed a wide range of customers, whose entrepreneurial energy has motivated us to continuously make Pico more capable of solving their needs. They’ve also helped us uncover entirely new use cases for Pico, reflecting the rapid pace of change and growth we’re seeing across the broader creator economy.
The publishers for whom we originally created Pico established an audience monetization template now being used by podcasters, fitness instructors, and every type of creator in between. This inspired us to reimagine how Pico’s features might serve a larger set of creator businesses.

In Pico 2, you can now easily spin up an unlimited number of landing page offers without creating additional products in your Stripe account. Pico’s new popup prioritization queue also makes it easy now to manage an unlimited number of on-site popup offers that target specific segments of your audience at just the right moment.
With the new visual Offer Editor in Pico 2, it’s also now possible to customize the text formatting and to set a unique cover image in each landing page and popup, ensuring that your message is presented just the way you want it.
